Who are we?

We are a research team developping the scientific project on security rights in digital goods as a research team at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków (Faculty of Law and Administration, Civil Law Chair). Our chief and principal investigator is prof. Jerzy Pisuliński. Our research is funded by the Polish National Science Centre in the OPUS 23 program as the project entitled "Virtually secured credit? Security rights in digital goods" (decision no. 2022/45/B/HS5/02952).

What we do?

We conduct research, organize seminars, and prepare scientific publications concernig security rights in the whole variety of digital goods (digital files, cryptoassets, digital accounts etc.). We adopt a positive perspective which is to find out how security rights in digital goods can and should be regulated (and not only presetning how they are regulated at present). We are open to collaborate with other European scholars interested in this topic.
